Financial Services Committee - Democrats Vote To Give ACORN Regulatory Authority Over Financial Institutions
I'd like to add a local note to the story posted below submitted by our local Legislative watchdog Darleen:
The house financial committee voted to give ACORN a REGULATORY ROLE OVER FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS. There were 3 not voting and Gresham Barrett of S.C. was one of them. Call Gresham Barrett @202-225-5301 Wash. office. and ask why he did not vote. We must also call our House Representative and let them know that under NO circumstances we can accept this being put in this bill.
Thanks and let's get them phones buzzing.

Sarah Palin "Going Rogue"
Sarah Palin's book "Going Rogue" was No. 1 on Amazon.com just two days after Harper announced the release date which was moved up from next spring to this November 17th.
Going Rogue is a 432-page memoir, still number one as of this posting and booksellers are fighting for sales. Amazon.com is offering Sarah's book for 15.65, a 45% discount.
Going Rogue has been given a first printing by Harper of 1.5 million copies and I expect a second printing will be needed before Christmas.
